Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use afhegfoundation.org and AFHEG Foundation's public digital tools, educational games, articles, videos and downloadable resources. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not harm other users or the service.

Educational purpose

AFHEG creates health communication, learning and youth engagement resources. Website content is provided for education and general information. It is not a substitute for personalised medical, legal, psychological or other professional advice.

Games and simulations

AFHEG games, including The Last Course and other serious games, are educational simulations. Choices, scores and consequences are designed to support learning and discussion. They should not be treated as clinical instructions or real-world diagnosis.

Personality & Career Test

The Personality & Career Test is a self-reflection tool. Results describe patterns in a user's answers and suggest areas to explore. They do not measure intelligence, mental health, suitability, employability or ability, and should not be used to make high-stakes decisions about a person.

Acceptable use

You may not attempt to damage, overload, bypass security controls, gain unauthorised access, scrape restricted information, upload malicious code, impersonate another person or use the website in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, AFHEG Foundation owns or controls the original website copy, learning tools, game concepts, game content, visual materials and other original content published under its name. You may link to and cite public materials, but commercial reuse, copying of a complete game or tool, or removal of ownership notices requires permission unless applicable law allows otherwise.

Third-party material and links

The website may link to or embed third-party services. AFHEG is not responsible for the availability, policies or content of independent third-party websites. A link does not automatically mean AFHEG endorses every statement or service on that site.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep public information useful and current, but content may be corrected, updated, suspended or removed. We do not guarantee that every page or digital tool will be continuously available or free from every technical error.

Privacy

Your use of the site is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Young users

Some AFHEG learning resources are intended for young people. Users should follow any age guidance or programme-specific safeguarding instructions. Parents, guardians, schools and facilitators remain responsible for supervision where appropriate.

Governing framework

These terms are intended to operate under the laws of Uganda. Nothing in these terms removes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Contact and updates

Questions can be sent to hello@afhegfoundation.org. AFHEG may revise these terms when the website or its services change. The date at the top shows the current version.
